Fibconet manufactures 12 series of outdoor waterproof fiber optic connectors used in FTTH drop-cable terminations, FTTA base-station jumpers, and outdoor ODN cross-connect points. Product families cover IP65, IP67 and IP68 sealing grades, with housings in PA, PEI and metal, selected per model and per project environment.

All series are cross-compatible with mainstream OEM interfaces — Huawei, ЗТЭ, Сүс ., ОПТ, Фуллакс., ODVA OptiTap, PDLC, NSN and ODC — so field crews can replace legacy assemblies without changing the enclosure or the drop-cable spec. Typical order size starts from 1,000 pcs; OEM labeling, custom pigtail lengths and bulk packaging are supported for distributors, ISPs and EPC contractors.

IP65 vs IP67 vs IP68 — What Each Rating Really Means for Outdoor Fiber

The IP code from IEC 60529 defines protection against solids (first digit) һәм һыу (second digit). For outdoor fiber, only the water digit varies in practice.

How to Match the Connector to Your Field Scenario

• You are replacing a specific carrier’s legacy hardware → choose the brand-compatible series (Хуавей / ЗТЭ / Сүс . / ОПТ / Фуллакс.) so the enclosure and drop cable stay unchanged.
• You run a North American multi-vendor FTTH network → standardize on OptiTap Type B; ODVA MSA guarantees interchangeability across suppliers.
• You need fast field terminations without polishing tools → choose the field-assembly series; a trained crew can seat a connector in about 3 минуттар.
• You deploy FTTA between BBU and RRU → use OPT-compatible IP68 or Fullaxs-compatible IP68 with LC duplex geometry.

Housing Material — PA, PEI or Metal

Material is selected per model, not per customer request. As a general rule:

• PA (polyamide): standard outdoor housing; balances cost, UV resistance and impact strength.
• ПЭИ (polyetherimide): higher heat and chemical resistance; used where sun exposure or salt spray is severe.
• Metal reinforcement: used on selected FTTA and base-station models where mechanical crush load is a project requirement.

Production History

Fibconet’s parent operation in optical passive components dates back to 1994. The waterproof connector line was industrialized after the FTTx wave in China, and today ships to ISPs, EPC contractors and distributors in more than 40 илдәре.

Raw Material and Supply Chain

Феррулалар, sleeves and pigtails are sourced from long-term qualified suppliers. Housings are injection-molded in-house from qualified PA and PEI resins so batch-to-batch dimensional consistency stays under control. G.657.A2 drop-cable pigtails are supplied through our deep bare-fiber inventory and brand distribution partnerships.

In-line and Outgoing Quality Control

• End-face 3D interferometry per Telcordia GR-326 on 100% of factory-terminated pigtails.
• Insertion loss and return loss test with reference master jumper, batch-recorded.

Эйе. Interface geometry, keying and sealing are built to the original OEM footprint. Field crews can plug our connector into the existing enclosure port without changing the drop cable or the sealing gel. We send a compatibility declaration with the first shipment on request.

IP67 is qualified for 30-minute immersion at 1 m depth. IP68 covers longer or deeper immersion under conditions the manufacturer defines. For aerial and wall-mount drops IP67 is enough; for direct-buried joints or base-station jumpers exposed to standing water, ask for IP68 with a stated depth.

Эйе. G.657.A2 is our default for FTTH drop-cable pigtails because it holds transmission at a 7.5 mm bend radius. G.652.D and G.657.A1 are available if your project spec requires them.

Q4. Do you support OEM printing on the connector body?

Эйе. Laser marking on the housing, custom color for the boot, and custom label on the bag and carton are available from 1,000 pcs per model.

Stock models ship in 5–7 working days. Custom pigtail length or OEM-labeled orders ship in 15–25 working days after order confirmation, күләмгә ҡарап. Confirm the actual date on the pro-forma invoice.

We ship FCA, FOB, CIF and DDP. DDP is quoted per destination country because of customs, VAT and last-mile handling; send us the delivery address and we return a landed cost quotation.

Family-typical value is ≥ 50 Н.. Selected FTTA and base-station models are qualified to a higher load. Ask us for the model-specific pull-test report before you tender a project.

10-сы һорау. Can you support a NPI (new product introduction) for a proprietary interface we designed?
