Underwater spools feature a proprietary pressure-equalization vent that balances internal and external water pressure, preventing housing deformation at depth. Aramid yarn reinforcement delivers 200 N tensile strength, protecting against marine life impact and pressure-driven fiber breakage.
Bare optical fiber is the raw waveguide — core + обшивка + acrylate coating — before it becomes a finished optical cable. It ships on 50.4 km standard reels, с 40.8 км, 60.4 км и 100 km reel lengths available on request. G.654.E has a larger effective area than G.652.D, which lowers non-linear impairment on high-capacity coherent transmission links. It is the fiber of choice for terrestrial 400G / 800G backbone links and terrestrial extensions of submarine networks. Tensile strength is 60 N стандарт.
