FIBCONET manufactures fiber optic conectores e adaptadores covering the full range of formats used in FTTH access, data-centre cabinets, telecom central offices and outdoor deployments — from standard SC / LC / FC / ST / MPO / MTRJ / E2000 to IP67 / IP68 impermeable outdoor-rated connectors and field-assembly (fast) connectors for on-site termination.

Every connector and adapter ships after 100% factory inspection — end-face 3D interferometer for MPO, insertion loss and return loss measurement on all fiber types, and mating durability verification against IEC 61754 e Telcordia GR-326-CORE (Clase R) methodology. Ferrules are Sanhuan (Sumitomo on request), and connector bodies come in standard telecom grade through outdoor waterproof PEI / PDLC housings.

Familia 1 — Fiber Optic Adapter (Acoplador / Mating Sleeve)

An adapter (also called coupler or mating sleeve) is the passive component that joins two connectors face-to-face inside an ODF panel, patch panel, wall plate or termination box. It aligns the two ferrules within tight concentricity tolerance so the light passes across the junction with minimum loss and reflection.

Dispoñible en simplex, duplex and quad configuracións, with mounting flanges for standard ODF drawer, wall plate, patch panel and custom panel cutouts. Colour coding follows the industry convention — blue for UPC, green for APC, aqua for OM3/OM4, lime green for OM5, beige for OM1/OM2 — so any technician can identify the format at a glance.

Our connector line splits into three families depending on how the fiber is terminated:

For pre-terminated cable assemblies, connectors are integrated onto FIBCONET patch cords in-house — giving you traceable ferrule origin, insertion loss test report per core, and consistent batch performance. How to Pick the Right End-Face Contact — PC / UPC / APC

All three describe how the ferrule end-face is polished, and each gives a different return loss value.

Rule of thumb: use APC (green connector) for anything carrying an RF-modulated signal or a PON drop; UPC (blue connector) for standard data traffic. Never mate UPC to APC — the polish angle mismatch will introduce significant loss and can damage the ferrules.

Q1. What is your MOQ for connectors and adapters?

Standard SC / LC / FC / ST adapters and connectors ship from stock without a strict MOQ — sample and trial orders are welcome. Os conectores MPO normalmente comezan en 100 unidades. Q2. Cal é a diferenza entre un conector e un adaptador?

A conector é o enchufe do extremo dun cable de fibra: suxeita a férula e remata a fibra. An adaptador (also called coupler or mating sleeve) é a unión pasiva que une dous conectores cara a cara, aliñando os seus casquillos para a transferencia de sinal de baixa perda. Cada ODF, O panel de conexión ou a placa de parede usa adaptadores para recibir conectores entrantes de cables de conexión ou coletas.

Q3. Cando debo usar APC en lugar de UPC?

Use APC (green connector, 8° esmaltado en ángulo) para calquera PON / Enlace FTTH fóra da planta, CATV RF-over-glass, e DWDM: en calquera lugar que a luz reflectida poida interferir co sinal. Use UPC (blue connector) para tráfico de datos estándar en centros de datos, redes empresariais e a maioría do cableado interior. Never mate UPC to APC — the angle mismatch causes major loss and can damage the ferrules.

Q4. Do you supply waterproof / outdoor connectors compatible with Huawei, ZTE or Ericsson equipment?

Si. Nós fabricamos IP67 and IP68 waterproof connectors in PDLC and PEI housings, compatible con Huawei, ZTE, Ericsson and other major telecom equipment vendors. Please specify the target equipment model at RFQ stage so we can confirm the correct housing and interface spec.

Q5. Do you supply test reports?

Si. Every shipment includes 100% factory test results (end-face, perda de inserción, perda de retorno). Electronic test reports in FLUKE or EXFO format are available on request — useful for project acceptance and customer audit.
