This eight-channel, parallel, pluggable, fiber-optic OSFP is specifically designed for 800 Gigabit Ethernet applications.
It offers exceptional performance for short-range data communication and interconnect applications.
Our OSFP 800G SR8 module integrates eight data lanes in each direction with a bandwidth of 8×53.125GBd.
It is capable of delivering distances of up to 60 meters over OM3 Multimode Fiber (MMF) or 100 meters over OM4 MMF.
It utilizes a nominal wavelength of 850nm and operate over multimode fiber systems.
The OSFP 800G SR8 comes with an 8x100G PAM4 retimed 800GAUI-8 electrical interface and dual MPO-12 APC and MPO-16 APC connectors.
The 8-channel VCSEL arrays and 8-channel PIN photodetector arrays ensure high-speed data transfer.
This transceiver is compliant with OSFP Module Specification Rev 5.0 and CMIS 5.2.
It is also compliant with IEEE 802.3db and IEEE 802.3ck, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of systems.
Power consumption of less than 14W in a temperature range of 0 to 70℃.
Ideal for 800GBASE-SR8, 800G Ethernet and data center applications.
It supports CMIS 5.2 defined Application Advertising, Application Selection and Instantiation.
