This is a pair-based device designed by Fibconet that excels where optical fiber resources are scarce.
In side A of this device, the receiving (RX) waves stretch from C19 to C38 (1562.23nm-1546.92nm),
while the transmitting (TX) waves range from C42 to C61 (1543.73nm-1528.77nm).
Flip it over to side B, and you’ll find the RX waves spanning C42 to C61 and the TX waves covering C19 to C38.
Paired with DWDM amplifiers and a DCM device, this 20-channel DWDM system supports long-distance transmission on a single fiber.
For long-distance point-to-point transmission on single fiber BIDI systems,
the absence of an R/B component in the DWDM system can prevent the addition of an EDFA amplifier.
To overcome this, we’ve incorporated an R/B component in our DWDM system.
