Housing Material — PA, PEI or Metal

Material is selected per model, not per customer request. As a general rule:

  • PA (polyamide): standard outdoor housing; balances cost, UV resistance and impact strength.
  • Pei (polyetherimide): higher heat and chemical resistance; used where sun exposure or salt spray is severe.
  • Metal reinforcement: used on selected FTTA and base-station models where mechanical crush load is a project requirement.
